If you could choose one book to suggest to a JW...

i'm sure this isn't an uncommon question but i'll ask anyway.. suppose you had the chance to suggest one book, essay, article, or other writing with the goal of helping a loved one wake up... which one would it be?.

bear in mind the goal is to subvert the programmed hair-trigger defenses that cause a complete shutdown of critical thinking.

this automatically excludes anything that would directly place the wt society or its history in a negative light.

The Finger

JW's should view world wisdom as nothing as compared to the wisdom of God therefore no book should make a difference. Other than Bible reading and prayer.

What does a demon or an evil spirit look like?

no they havent..because they dont exsist.

who needs demons to do bad things on the earth when we have people doing horrible things to each other since the beginning of time.

demons are just an easy way to pass of the blame...pretty easy to do since no one has ever seen one.. its like telling people there are evil invisible tooth faries lurking around every corner.

When I was a child I saw what most people would call a ghost walking down the stairs of our house. It opened the dining room door and disappeared. Some little while later my father saw it and it pushed past him and when into the kitchen one evening, later that night he saw it on the stairs like I had. It looked like my Grandfather who we lived with but only because of the blue cardigan he had obtained from his brother who was a spirit medium and he would wear the cardigan. We had other problems in the house for several months until the blue cardigan was gone. We didn't know that my grandfather had gotten the cardigan from his brother until my father enquired. There seemed to be a connection to the article of clothing. My grandfather also at this point would talk to somebody who was not visible to me and I could not hear. This cardigan seemed to be a connection to something else. What do you think?

A christian is supposed to turn the other cheek. The last shall be first. ect.

The Alpha male in the animal kingdom is arrogant and eats first. Many men who are arrogant have fine looking women on there arm.

Can a true christian be arrogant and still be christian. Humbleness and modesty are the values of christian men are they not? Do most women look for humble modest men?

As for "the Finger." There is a specific reason for me being "the Finger" it's rather silly
